Cultural Research
Tangible Results
Looking to improve performance and satisfaction within your organization? Or gain deeper insight into your current organizational culture and how it can be strengthened? A culture assessment provides the clarity you need.
Our research reveals how culture influences performance and satisfaction. We analyze both the current and desired culture and map the “change delta.” This supports stronger motivation, engagement, and growth across the organization.
We combine scientific methods with in-depth analysis — not only identifying visible symptoms of your organizational culture, but also uncovering the underlying causes, motivations, and dynamics.
A culture assessment is valuable for anyone aiming to build a positive work environment and improve organizational performance. Our studies go beyond analysis: they always include a clear and actionable plan for improvement.

Approach to Organizational Culture Research
1) Gaining Support
Broad support is a key condition for meaningful research. That’s why we involve as many employees as possible, in an interactive and engaging way.
By encouraging people to reflect on both the current and desired culture, they become more willing to support the next steps. In that sense, the culture assessment itself becomes the first step in change.
2) Clarity
In a cultural research, we examine both the current and desired culture to determine whether change is truly necessary — and what that change should ideally look like. This goes well beyond a standard employee survey.
Our research not only provides insight and advice on what could be improved, but always includes a concrete action plan to support real change.
How We Conduct Our Research
Our culture research consists of an online survey, interviews, and a few engaging interactive sessions. We focus on generating high response rates, strong engagement, and broad support.
We often opt for group interviews, as they allow us to involve as many people as possible. Of course, individual interviews are also possible — particularly when psychological safety may be a concern.
Our research projects typically take around two months, from kick-off to final feedback.

Why Cultural Research and Not Just an Employee Survey?
An employee survey (MTO) often resembles a horoscope: it predicts the same recurring issues — high workload, poor communication, and lack of appreciation. These are common challenges found in nearly every organization and rarely lead to new insights.
Our approach goes further. We don’t just identify these issues — we uncover their root causes and explore how meaningful change can actually take place. We examine deeper patterns, underlying drivers, and the impact of the existing culture on collaboration and performance.
This allows us to move beyond surface-level improvements and focus on lasting cultural development, offering practical tools for sustainable change.
Our Focus Areas in Cultural Research

Assessing Fear-Based Culture & Psychological Safety
When evaluating whether there is a lack of psychological safety or the presence of a fear-based culture, it’s essential not to jump to conclusions or rely solely on isolated incidents. At the same time, subtle or recurring signals should never be ignored.
Have you received signs of dissatisfaction, social insecurity, inappropriate behavior, or a fear-driven work culture? If so, we provide a professional and independent assessment of your organizational culture.
We look beyond scores, charts, and overly quick self-diagnoses. Our focus is on understanding behavior through cultural dynamics — in other words, a thorough and in-depth diagnosis.
Our Quick Scan offers an initial indication and starting point.
